WOTCHA!

THIS IS  A STORY ALL

ABOUT US

We have been making music for as long as we've known what a record button was and realised that with a bit of tape, all cassettes could be overwritten.

Early efforts replaced the perfect pop of the Spice Girls with what can either be described as 'proto- expressionist think pieces' or 'noise' depending on your perspective.

Formative years notwithstanding, we both became heavily interested in the creation and performance of music and spent our difficult teenage years exchanging songs, discussing bands and performing whenever we could.

This musical passion intensified with us both reading Music at university, Alice specialising in performance and Harry in composition. Harry then furthered his studies with a Masters degree and now PhD in Composition but he's been informed by Alice since that it's not a competition.

By now we were grown up and Alice had got herself engaged and asked Harry to compose, arrange and direct a significant amount of music for the wedding. At that moment, they were hit by the realisation that they could put aside sibling rivalry and actually work together. And then MusicForMy... was formed.
